Also, this ladoo recipe does not require cooking or baking. I melted ghee in a microwave and add it to the powdered roasted grams and shape them into laddoos. Maa ladoo stays good for up to a week. Also, it serves as an energetic snack for kids. My son Aldrich likes this ladoo, so I often make it for after school snack.

1. You can also dry roast the roasted grams (dalia) for few minutes before powdering it for a nice nutty flavor.
2. Powdering the sugar is important because it blends well with the roasted gram powder and make a soft and smooth ladoos.
3. If you find difficult in shaping ladoos, add extra warm ghee and shape it, or you can also add warm milk if you add milk the laddoos won’t stay good for a week. You have to consume it in 3 days.
4. You can also add chopped nuts and raisins in this ladoo.

- 1 cup ROASTED GRAM (DALIA)
- 0.50 cup SUGAR
- 0.25 cup GHEE
- 2 no CARDAMOM

Place roasted grams in a mixer and grind it to a fine powder and transfer it to a bowl.

Grind sugar and cardamoms together to a fine powder and add it to the powdered roasted grams.

Heat ghee in a microwave oven for 40 – 50 seconds and add it to the powdered roasted grams mixture.

Mix well and shape them into the small balls. Serve or store it in an air-tight container for up to a week.
