It is an excellent sweet for the parties and potlucks. From kids to everyone loves this sweet. Naturally, carrots are sweeter in taste, so this sweet does not require a larger quantity of sugar. The sweetness of condensed milk is enough.
Carrot Halwa with Condensed Milk
Carrot halwa with condensed milk is an easy, quick, and delicious Indian sweet. Grated carrot cooked with ghee, condensed milk, and dry fruits.
- 2 Cups Carrot Grated
- 0.50 no Condensed Milk
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 2 no Cardamom Roughly Crushed
- 1 tbsp Dry Fruits (I used raisins and dried cranberries, you could any of your favorite)
- In a pan, heat ghee, add dry fruits and cook until it becomes soft and plump. Remove the dry fruits from ghee and keep aside for later use.

Add grated carrots and cook until the carrot becomes soft.

Add condensed milk and cook until the carrot mixture becomes thick (keep stirring to avoid the condensed milk getting burned and sticking to the bottom of a pan).

Add crushed cardamoms, dry fruits and mix well. Carrot halwa is ready to serve.
